How we verify providers
Every NeuroLynk provider is checked before it appears: regulatory registration, clinician registration, insurance and the factual claims made in the listing.
1. Regulatory registration
Where the service is one that must be registered — for example medical detox or residential rehabilitation — we check the register directly and record the registration reference and the date we checked it.
2. Clinician registration
We check that named clinicians hold current registration with the relevant UK regulator (GMC, HCPC, NMC, BPS-recognised routes and equivalents) for the work described in the listing.
3. Professional indemnity insurance
We ask for current indemnity cover appropriate to the service, and we ask again when the policy is due to lapse.
4. The claims in the listing
Prices, waiting times, what is and is not included, delivery mode and who the service is suitable for are checked against the evidence the provider supplies. Anything we cannot evidence does not go live.
5. Ongoing accuracy
Material changes — price, waiting time, regulatory status, the services offered — are reviewed before they publish. Routine edits publish immediately. We re-check registration on a scheduled cycle.
Verification cannot be bought. No commercial arrangement, placement or subscription changes whether a provider is verified, or what the checks find.
What verification is not. It is a check that a provider is who it says it is, is registered where registration is required, and that the facts in its listing are supported by evidence. It is not a clinical endorsement, a quality rating, or a recommendation for your situation. NeuroLynk is not a healthcare provider and does not give medical advice.
