Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA across the whole platform.
What we have built in
- Adjustable text size, reduced motion and high contrast controls in the header.
- Full keyboard operation with a visible focus indicator and a skip link.
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labelled form fields for screen readers.
- Tap targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on touch devices.
- Plain English, short sentences and no unexplained clinical jargon.
- Status and error messages that never rely on colour alone.
Known limitations
Content supplied by clinics, including uploaded images and documents, may not always meet the same standard. We review listings and ask clinics to correct issues we find.
